A trip to Ralphs

Today we took a quick trip to Ralphs with our friends Stephanie and Ellie. Steph thought it would be cute to put the girls in the car-cart and they has so much fun. Here are some cute pictures....

I seriously had the best birthday this year!!! Last Friday Mike took me out to Stone Creek Grille where we ate like royalty. Don't judge but we had two appetizers, we each had a huge steak and then we finished off our meal with two dessert. We were so stuffed but enjoyed every minute of it!! (Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of our fun dinner date)

When Saturday came we made our way over to California Adventure. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded at all considering it was Memorial Weekend. Disneyland on the other hand was CRAZY busy. So needless to say we hung out at CA Adventure. I've been there so many times and thought I have done it all but I was wrong. We went on some new rides and had tons of fun. By far my favorite ride was the HUGE ferris wheel. All in all, it was a great birthday and Memorial Weekend.

We had a great party!!! Now it was time to set up for my Madison's birthday party.




Opening her first birthday gift!!! She didn't waste anytime.

We had a successful 1st birthday thanks to all of my friends and family. The only glitch I had was that I only took a handful of pictures. :( During all the fun it didn't occur to me that I should be snapping away. Mike was using the video camera so I'm hoping that we got some good footage. Other than that we had a blast!!!

I honestly can't thank my Heavenly Father enough for sending us our beautiful baby. We are truly blessed!!! We love you baby girl!!!

A year ago today

I was freaking out about having a baby but there was no need for that. I love being Mila's mommy. She is honestly the best and happiest baby ever!!! I can't believe tomorrow we are celebrating her 1st birthday. I've been busy making cupcakes and getting the last minute things ready and organized. I can't wait to see how everything turns out tomorrow until then wish me luck that everything goes well.

Happy Mother's Day!!

My very 1st Mother's day...and it was great!! I love being Mila's mommy and wouldn't want it any other way. I love my husband for making me feel so special today.

Slacker!

Wow! Has it really been a month since my last post? I have neglected my blog and need to get back into posting on a regular basis and not once a month. Anyhow, Mila is now 11 months and it is freaking me out that she will be 1 next month. I've been stressing out on planning her birthday party....I know, she is not going to remember it but I just want to make sure that everyone has a fun time.

In the last few weeks I've got to see some friends I don't really get to see that often. I met Sandy, her adorable girls, mom and brothers at Disneyland for Judy's (Sandy's mom) birthday. It had been 5 years since the last time I saw sandy and it was so nice to reminisce and catch up. We had some good laughs!!! I can't wait to hang out with Sandy and her girls again.

Last week Claudia came to CA and Mila and I got to meet her and Giana at Disneyland. Disneyland seems to be the hot spot around here and I aint complaining, we love us some Dland. Giana is such a cutie and such a big girl. I can't wait for them to come back again so we can plan some more fun things to do.

Last Friday I got to meet up with one of my great friends, Trisha, and the family. I love them so much!! I have such a good time when I am with them. We met up at South Coast Plaza our old stomping ground and did some shopping. I got to meet the newest addition to their beautiful family, Tala, she is beautiful. On top of seeing Trish and her family I was also graced with company of another great friend, Jenna, and her family. We all had a blast hanging out. Later on that evening we all went out for sushi and stuffed our faces....things havent changed that much. :)

Saturday, Mike, Mila and I headed over to Strike bowling Lanes at the District to meet Melissa and the crew to celebrate Mel's 28th bday. We had a blast!! I don't know why we don't go bowling more offten? It's so much fun. The atmospher there is awesome it has great music, fun decor and yummy food. Who wouldn't want to be there?

You would think with all the fun things I've don in the last couple of weeks I would have a million pictures to post but I don't really have any....Sorry.
